Welcome to Survival On Purpose

Hi,

Thanks for becoming a part of our community here at Survival On Purpose.  Together, we can help each other  improve our skills, decide which gear is right for our needs and increase our chances for survival in a bad situation.

Since you were willing to trust me with your email address, I think it’s only fair to tell you what to expect.

First, I promise not to flood your Inbox with emails. I’ll probably email you no more than once a week with the updates or new videos or anything else I think will benefit or interest you. If something time sensitive comes up that might be important to you I may shoot you an additional email that week, but that should be rare.

Second, I am always looking to find great gear and other resources that will help all of us.  From time to time I may  include something I think has high value for you to check out.  If it helps you, great; if not just ignore it.

Third, I want to be completely transparent with you.  Some of the stuff I tell you about may generate a commission or referral fee for me if you wind up buying something. I promise you I won’t ever recommend anything I don’t think is worth the money.  I know anybody can say that, so it’s going to be up to you whether you trust me. But that’s the bottom line about all of this anyway. We either trust each or not.

Finally, if you ever decide you are tired of hearing from me, all you have to do is click on the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any of my emails and I will immediately take your name out of my contacts and stop sending you emails. The last thing I want to do is be is an unwanted guest in your Inbox.

Once again. I’m glad you chose to connect with us here at Survival On Purpose. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if I can help you in any way.

Sincerely,

Bryan Stevens

That $8, 7 year old knife U tested would probably work better cauterizing a wound, and warding off an attacker. I carry a knife for all round bush craft task. And an Arkansas Toothpick for sticking, should I need it. As U know, when U are serious about being in the bush, U will have more than one steel in Ur buyout bag. Bryan, I thoroughly enjoy viewing Ur knife test videos.

Being a lifelong outdoor hiking, hunting, camping, fishing, motorcycling person, I always enjoy the information, energy, care, expertise & time that you put into your videos. I will be 70 years old in March & have 3 adult children & 5 grandchildren that I am interested in passing my skills & gear onto. I enjoy your style. Keep up the good work. Best regards, Barry

As a fellow Scout Leader up here in Ontario Camada, I have become an ardent follower of your channel. I found you about 6 months ago and have really enjoyed watching what you do. Many of the things you show are either not available here, prohibited or I just have been able to find them. Having said that, I am always on the path that seeks more knowledge, your channel, I am glad to say, helps me in my quest.

Keep those video’s coming, and Oh yes, you gotta teach me to throw knives as well as you do. My throw to stick ratio is nowhere near as successful as yours.

    Y.I.S.

It’s really sad what they are trying to do up there with the gun confiscation they are hopping to get away with remember they can’t take em if you don’t give em up I’m sure there is a lot of gun owners who will refuse to go along with it if enough people do that it won’t work out for them . If that don’t work move down here . I’m sure they would like to do that here but I really don’t think it would work out for them they would run into people like me who won’t cooperate with their bullshit

Did you sharpen the $8 Rambo knife? Where can I buy one? Have you seen the survival knife that operates like a switch blade?

Hey Bryan! I like me some fire too! I haven’t been watching long but I really enjoy your videos. I don’t get to camp a lot but when I do a roaring fire and a cup of coffee is the best. Keep those videos coming. Definitely getting a t-shirt!

    Thanks again

Enjoying your videos. Folks can use the hands on nature of your videos. I would ask you to not only show what you have in your get home page, but continue with individual lessons on each article. That would help lots of folks actually see how to do it. From my experience folk will purchase an item, throw it into their “kit bag”, and never know how, when, or why they have it.

    Greetings Bryan!
I just signed up after watching your informative video on flushing my Jeep’s heater core. I’m going to try that tomorrow and hopefully that will save me a lot of money even from my independant mechanic. He’s got to eat too and his time is money! I shudder to think of the Jeep dealer’s response to the issue. +++ “We’ll have to replace the whole heater core and we can maybe fit you in on the second Tuesday of next week. It will cost only one arm and a lower leg, no reason to bring your firstborn in this time as it will likely be less than 6 hours on the books”+++
