Survival Shakedown Class – September 25-27, 2020
REGISTRATION CLOSED
Stay tuned to Survival On Purpose
for the next scheduled class.
The Survival Shakedown is a hands-on learning experience. You’ll need to bring your bug-out bag or survival gear. (If you don’t have any gear yet please see the required gear list below for recommendations).
We have designed the class curriculum to be of value whether you have years of experience or are just starting out. But I warn you, be prepared to be challenged! Yes, we are going to cover the fundamentals. But this is not a passive classroom experience. The focus of the class is testing both your gear and yourself in a safe environment to help improve your odds in a survival situation.
Some of the things we’ll cover are:
- Bug Out Bag/Survival Kit Review (Let’s talk about the gear you trust and why.)
- The specific survival item I think every kit should contain. (Think you have this?)
- The top 3 types of survival gear you should carry and why
- The #1 killer in a survival situation and the $1 item that could save your life
- How a famous children’s book teaches the most important survival principle
- The biggest gear mistake many people make – (I call this the Goldilocks effect)
- Stay put or move? How to increase your chances of survival either way.
- Which 3 skillsets are most important?
- The core medical gear EVERYONE should have and know how to use.
